Dr. Isabella Sullivan is a graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, and she feels extremely grateful to have joined the Cedarcrest Animal Hospital team in July 2023.
Dr. Sullivan received her B.S. in Biology and B.A. in German at Mercer University in 2019. She continued her education at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts, where she received her DVM in May 2023. She is happy to have moved back to Georgia to continue her veterinary career close to family and friends.
Dr. Sullivan is a general practitioner with special interests in neurology, clinical pathology, dentistry, and nutrition. Trips to the vet can often be extremely anxiety-inducing events, but Dr. Sullivan is passionate about fostering an environment that is as comfortable and low-stress as possible for both pets and their families. She is confident that reducing fear and promoting positive associations with vet visits optimizes the ability to practice the highest standard of medical care - best achieved with a foundation of trust supporting the human-animal bonds between the veterinarian, patient, and family. She believes empathy, honesty, patience, and communication are key in building this foundation.
When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Sullivan enjoys traveling, songwriting, yoga, binging her favorite TV shows, going to concerts, and spending time with her family and her two quirky pups, Luna and Pepper.
